Hello, teachers and students。I am Cong Rong, president of the Student Union of the School Youth League Committee。The title of our speech is "Be a civilized associate of the Middle School, present the centennial Celebration"
Recently, on our campus at Tsinghua High School, there was a very worrying incident of losing a bike. One of our classmates pushed away another student's unlocked bike。Although the incident was solved, the uncivilized behavior that happened on the campus deserves our deep thought。
Why push away bikes that don't belong to you？Since we were very young, our parents have taught us not to take things that are not our own, and now we as a middle school student attached to Tsinghua University, but still freely move other people's belongings。It is worth reflecting on whether each of us is becoming less and less civilized, and whether the requirements for self are becoming more and more lax。Why didn't you lock your car？You don't look for lost things？A porridge a rice when thinking hard-won, half silk half wisp constant reading material is difficult。Diligence and frugality have been the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation since ancient times, and now the various items piled up in the lost and found office and the bicycles unclaimed in the bicycle shed can not help but make us reflect on the shortcomings and problems in civilized education work。
Similarly, these uncivilized behaviors happen all the time in every corner of the campus。From the plates left on the table after eating in the cafeteria, to the toilet paper wasted in the bathroom, from the plastic bottles that can be seen everywhere after large events, to the impolite language and the dress and hair that do not meet the requirements。Whether the ideology of our classmates meets the requirements of socialist core values？Whether the behavior and appearance of our students meet the relevant requirements of "civilized affiliated Middle School"？As we celebrate the 99th anniversary of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University on October 18, we should also face the reality of whether our spirit can match our glorious history？
Therefore, today, on behalf of the Student Union of the School Youth League Committee, I propose to all the students of Affiliated High School: be a civilized affiliated high school。From October 13 to November 14, our school will carry out a one-month "Attached High School Image, Civilization has me - a gift for the school anniversary" activity. On the occasion of this centennial, we hope that all students will transform their deep love for their Alma mater into their own actions and resist uncivilized behaviors。Do not destroy the teaching environment and teaching order behavior, not in the teaching building, not riding on campus。Language dress up in line with the school rules, wear school uniforms, do not wear hair, civilized language。Start from today, start from yourself, start from little things, develop good civilized habits。With our mouth, polite greetings, control our mouth, civilized language;Use our hands, help others, hold our hands, pick up rubbish。Be strict with yourself, use every move to change the uncivilized phenomenon around you, use every word and deed to practice the civilized standards of Affiliated High School, and strive to be the image ambassador of Qinghua Affiliated High School.
